Bologna defender Aaron Hickey has been compared to superstar Gareth Bale, as a respected Spanish publication tips him for the top.
The Hearts youth product has been in impressive form this season, bagging five Serie A goals so far.
The 19-year-old is a Scotland youth international and Bologna boss Sinisa Mihajlovic has insisted he should be called up to Steve Clarke's senior team.
His displays in Italy have caught the eye of a number of clubs, with Steven Gerrard believed to be keen to bring Hickey to Aston Villa while some big names in calcio will be tracking him without a doubt.
And the global media also appears to be taking note of his exploits, with Marca naming him as one of their XI players 'set to explode in 2022'.
They add: "He is the second-highest scoring defender in the top five major European leagues, netting four for Bologna in Serie A this term, and his athletic prowess is what makes him so effective.
"Many have compared him to a young Gareth Bale."
Other players to make the list include Florian Wirtz of Bayer Leverkusen and Chelsea wonderkid Connor Gallagher, who is currently on loan at Crystal Palace.
