A reporter's claim that Aaron Hickey will be joining Celtic has left Hearts fans unimpressed.
On Monday night, Daily Telegraph reporter Mike McGrath tweeted: "#CelticFC are set to win the race for #Hearts full-back Aaron Hickey.
"The 18yr old had interest from English Premier League clubs after playing regularly last season."
Record Sport's Ross Pilcher, however, tweeted: "Hearts say they haven’t received any offer from Celtic for Aaron Hickey".
Hickey had been shown around by Bologna and Bayern Munich, with the Champions League winners believed to have been the favourites.
It's clear from the reaction of many Hearts fans that they would prefer to see the 18-year-old left-back in the Bundesliga.
