The Moneyball Pro-Am has been continuing in Dimondale, Michigan and Michigan State players continue to show out for the fans in attendance. First, Miles Bridges set the building on fire with a dunk back in June. Then, everyone was talking about Xavier Tillman’s shooting. But for the past few weeks, it has been Aaron Henry’s athleticism, which he doesn’t always show off on offense, that has been impressing fans in attendance. Well, Henry did it again today as he threw down an insane dunk during a double-overtime game.
I am hoping this will carry over into the regular season as we have seen flashes of a confident, explosive Henry during stretches last year, particularly in the NCAA Tournament. Henry averaged 6.1 points-per-game during the season but exploded for 20 points in the tournament against LSU in the Sweet Sixteen.
