ORLANDO, Fla. _ Aaron Gordon lit up the Phoenix Suns for a season-high 32 points Wednesday night at Amway Center as the Orlando Magic rolled to a 128-114 victory, their third straight win and fourth in five games.
The Magic (10-11) scored a season-high in points for a game for the second consecutive night. They put up 127 in a win at Washington on Tuesday and eclipsed that 24 hours later at home. The two-night outburst marks only the third time in Magic history they have scored 125 points or more in consecutive games.
Gordon wasn't the only Magic player with the hot hand as Orlando showed glimpses of last season's team and its ability to make shots. Orlando, which started the season as one of the worst shooting teams in the NBA, made nearly 60% (57.6) of its field goals against the Suns and everyone was feeling it.
Six Magic players hit double digits in scoring and three players scored more than 20 points. Terrence Ross had 22 points, Evan Fournier 21, Markelle Fultz 13 and D.J. Augustin and Mo Bamba 11 each.
The Magic also were rolling on defense, showing extra urgency while forcing 13 turnovers, blocking seven Phoenix shots and coming up with nine steals. Bamba had four of the blocks in possibly his best all-around game of the season despite coming down awkwardly on his ankle and leaving the game with 7:15 remaining in the second quarter.

Bamba returned midway through the third quarter and showed no signs of ill effects as he picked up the second double-double of his NBA career, adding 10 rebounds.
The Suns (9-11) weren't shooting the ball poorly, hitting at a 49% clip, but when the Magic are hitting like they were, it was quite difficult to keep pace, even with Suns' center Frank Kaminsky looking unstoppable.
The 7-footer scored 21 points in the first half on 9-of-11 shooting. Kaminnsky, however, was slowed in the second half, scoring just two points and had 23 for the game.
Despite Kaminsky's big first half, the Magic found themselves in the lead at halftime. The Suns were in control for a good portion of the first half until Orlando got hot from long distance, with Gordon, Ross and Augustin hitting three straight 3-pointers _ Augustin's a four-point play after he was fouled and hit a free throw _ and the Magic used the momentum to bolt into the lead at the break 65-58.
The Magic remained hot from distance after halftime, with Gordon scoring eight points in an 14-4 run that had Phoenix on its heels and Orlando bolting out to a 79-62 lead that would eventually balloon to a 22-point margin in the third quarter.
Gordon continued to show his hot hand in arguably his best all-around game of the season. He was hitting 3-pointers from way beyond the arc, dunking in the paint and very active on defense despite a recent ankle injury. He was especially good in the third period when the Magic started to pull away. He was 6-for-6 from the floor and had 15 points during the quarter.
The Magic have continued to find ways to win without injured star center Nikola Vucevic in the lineup. He is working to recover from an ankle injury.
Orlando will get a one-day break before playing at Cleveland Friday. Tipoff is at 7 p.m. and the game will air on Fox Sports Florida.
