UPDATE: Donald returned to the field in the second quarter.
Aaron Donald was seen heading into the locker room early in the second quarter of the Rams matchup with the Saints. The team confirmed that Donald is currently questionable to return with a back injury.
Donald was wreaking havoc early on against the Saints. He blew up a couple running plays and was able to get a hand on Drew Brees’ hand, who also exited the game and has yet to return.
It remains unclear how severe Donald’s back injury is. The Rams will look to Tanzel Smart and Morgan Fox to step up in Donald’s absence.
