Aaron Connolly has been left out of Ireland's matchday squad for Tuesday evening's World Cup qualifier against Serbia at the Aviva.
The Brighton striker is not in the 23-man squad for the match after playing against both Portugal and Azerbaijan in the past week.
Connolly, 21, has had plenty of injury problems already in his career and was taken off at half-time of Saturday's 1-1 draw with Azerbaijan. Although Ireland boss Stephen Kenny never specified if his withdrawal was due to an injury.
Connolly started both of those matches and had chances to score his first goal at senior level for his country.
Ireland go into the clash against Serbia (7.45pm) with just one point from four matches to date in Group A.
