Aaron Carter's fiancée won't attend ceremony as ashes to be spread with his late sister

Aaron Carter's mother has revealed some of his ashes are to be spread in the Florida Keys with those of his late sister Leslie.

Aaron, 34, was found dead in his bathtub earlier this month. No death has yet been revealed.

His mum Jane has said his fiancee and the mother to his one-year-old son Prince, Melanie Martin, won't be at the ceremony. His remaining ashes will be preserved to spread alongside his mother's when she passes.

Jane also said that NSYNC star Lance Bass, a friend of brother Nick's, has told the family they can use his LA home for a memorial service, but the family has opted against this after revealing death threats.

Speaking to TMZ, Jane said she missed her son and the pair were texting each other only a few days before he died. She revealed how he had sent her a message to check in with her and asked how the family was doing in Florida.

She revealed his ashes are currently with his twin sister Angel ahead of any scattering. Sister Leslie, who starred on the family's reality TV show titled House of Carters died at the age of 25 in 2012. The publication reports her husband Mike currently has her ashes.

Aaron's fiancée Melanie put on a brave face earlier this month as she marked her first Thanksgiving without the star.

She took to her Instagram Stories last week to give fans an update on her Thanksgiving celebrations as she gathered with family and friends.

Earlier in the day, Melanie also shared a tribute throwback video of her, baby Prince and Aaron as he played the piano for her.

She wrote alongside the post: "I can barely watch this video but I thought I would share. I loved these moments we had such a beautiful family."

Fans were quick to offer her their support in the comments section, with one user writing: "What a precious moment. The holidays are the hardest but you’ve got this!!!"
