Indian film actress Aahana Kumra stunner as a showstopper for designer duo Anjalee and Arjun Kapoor on Day 1 of Delhi's biggest fashion extravaganza, the Delhi Times Fashion Week.
The actress who rose to fame with her noticeable performances in various web shows looked nothing less than a princess as she sashayed across the ramp.
Aahana stunned in a silver-grey applique fishtail lehenga which gave gown feels and came with a sheer dupatta.
Poetry came alive on the ramp with Anjalee and Arjun Kapoor's contemporary take on vintage couture and Aahana proved to be the high point of the show with her elegant ramp act.
The designers showcased a fine mix of cocktail gowns and lehenga with elaborate embroidery, applique and lace work. The collection, inspired by iconic Hollywood movie, The Great Gatsby, was seemingly targeted at would-be brides or women who love dressing up elegantly.
"We have always enjoyed being a part of DTFW and have a long association. This time, too, we are excited for our show. Considering the collection this time, I am sure it will be an amazing experience. Also we would be doing the show after 2 years and we are happy to see that things are getting back to normal. Design and styling is what defines DTFW and that would be portrayed through our collection The Gatsby Song," said the dynamic designer duo.
The show featured exquisite jewellery by Diamond Cubik by Abhishek Goel and Aanchal Goel.
