Roganic, Cornerstone and Stem are among the 2018 London restaurant openings to be awarded three and four AA Rosettes in the 2019 guide.

Simon Rogan’s Marylebone restaurant Roganic claims four rosettes, just one off the top accolade of five rosettes. It had previously held three.

Stem, Anglo chef Mark Jarvis's new Mayfair restaurant, and Cornerstone, the Hackney Wick solo venture from former Outlaw's head chef Tom Brown, both make their debuts in the guide with three rosettes.

Classic Kensington dining destination Launceston Place has also been awarded three rosettes, having previously held two in the 2018 guide. Gordon Ramsay's restaurant Pétrus also returns to the guide with three AA Rosettes.

Roganic adds the four-rosette accolade to the Michelin star it also achieved in its first year. In a mixed year for Simon Rogan, 2018 also saw the chef close his Michelin-starred restaurant Fera at Claridge's.

Only seven London restaurants hold the top accolade of five rosettes, including Core by Clare Smyth, sketch Lecture Room and Library and Hélène Darroze at The Connaught.
