Sixteen of Glasgow's much-loved spots have made it into a top restaurant guide for 2020.
The AA has unveiled The Restaurant Guide 2020 – the food lover’s guide to the best cuisine in Britain, containing over 2,000 restaurants currently awarded Rosettes for "culinary excellence" by the AA’s professional inspectors.
Swanky restaurants such as Number Sixteen, One Devonshire Gardens, Ox and Finch and The Gannet were the usual suspects included in the round-up, while slightly more casual spots Mother India, Shish Mahal, The Hanoi Bike Shop and Wee Lochan got a special mention too.

The Restaurant Guide 2020 features over 140 new and interesting restaurants across Britain and Ireland which have made it into the Guide for the first time this year. Scotland's offering includes a restaurant which uses its profits to help train surgeons (Ten Hill Place Hotel, Edinburgh), the late Andrew Fairlie’s establishment (Andrew Fairlie at Gleneagles) as well as recently crowned AA Restaurant of the Year Scotland (SugarBoat, Helensburgh).

The in-depth guide lists the UK’s restaurant scene by county, with a detailed description of each destination, from opening details and capacity, to whether the restaurant is child friendly, alongside information on the latest chef changes and sample menu prices.
