A9 closed near Dunblane after horror crash as emergency services race to scene

Police have closed the A9 near Dunblane following a horror crash this morning.

Emergency services raced to road near Keir Roundabout shortly after 9.45am on Tuesday, November 23.

Officers were called to the report of a one vehicle smash.

The road is currently shut off southbound towards Stirling and Bridge of Allan.

The extent of any injuries as a result of the crash are not yet known.

A diversion is in place through Dunblane.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We were made aware of a crash involving a single vehicle on the A9 near Keir Roundabout shortly after 9.45am on Tuesday, November 13.

"Emergency services are currently at the scene and the road is closed southbound, with a diversion in place through Dunblane."
