A899 in Livingston will be hit by road closures and speed restrictions from tomorrow

One of Livinston's busiest roads will be affected by closures and speed restrictions from tomorrow (5 April).

West Lothian Council say that measures will be put in place on the A899 while roadworks are carried out – and they'll remain for two weeks.

The northbound on-slips at the Houston interchange will be closed off completely with diversions in place via Houston Road, Grange Road, Cousland Road, Cousland interchange and the A899.

There will also be a 30mph speed restriction in place in both directions between Livingston East roundabout and the Cousland interchange for the duration of the works.

The measures will be in place from 9am tomorrow and are scheduled to continue until 4pm on Friday, 19 April.

West Lothian Council say this is due to carriageway and bridge works.
