A three car crash on the A8 is causing lengthy delays in Edinburgh – with queues stretching back to the city bypass.
The accident happened on Glasgow Road eastbound, between Gogar and Maybury shortly before 12.30pm.
One lane is currently blocked off and this is causing long tailbacks citybound.
The council-run Edinburgh Travel News took to social media to say that traffic was delayed on Glasgow Road past the RBS and also towards Sheriffhall and the City Bypass .
