A610 Nuthall Road will shut overnight due to roadworks

The A6110 Nuthall Road will be closed to motorists overnight due to roadworks.

The major road, which is used by Nottingham drivers accessing the M1 and going between the city and areas such as Eastwood and Ripley, will be closed for nine hours.

The closure will take effect from 8pm on Monday, May 10 until 5am on Tuesday, May 11.

The road will be shut westbound from its junction with Millenium Way to its junction with Nuthall roundabout.

The works are being carried out by Centurion Site Services, on behalf of mobile provider T-Mobile.

A new telephone mast is being installed by the company which is why the road is being closed off to drivers.

A diversion will be in place via the A6514 Western Boulevard - the road is expected to reopen to drivers from Tuesday morning.
