A60 reopens overnight after 'serious' crash near garden centre

Police have reopened the A60 in Nottinghamshire after a serious crash left two in hospital.

Officers were called to the crash near a garden centre.

The A60 near Holbeck was closed after the collision, which took place at around 4.15pm on Wednesday, May 12.

Two cars were involved in the crash, according to police.

Two people were taken to hospital with "serious injuries", the force said.

And police have since confirmed to Nottinghamshire Live the road reopened overnight at around 1am (Thursday May 13).

Inspector Hayley Crawford, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “This is a serious collision that has left two people requiring hospital treatment.

"I’d like to thank the public for their understanding at this time."
