A60 Mansfield Road in Arnold reopens after motorcyclist seriously injured in crash with van

A busy Nottinghamshire road has reopened after a motorcyclist suffered serious injuries in a collision yesterday.

The A60 Mansfield Road in Arnold was closed on June 7 after the crash between a motorbike and a van.

A spokesperson for Nottinghamshire police said on June 8: "The incident is now closed.

"We had a call from Highways England at 5am this morning (June 8) saying road now clear."

It was believed the person has serious injuries and was being treated at the scene while accident investigation work was carried out between the A614 junction and Burnt Stump Hill.

Police warned drivers that the road would be closed for some time.
