Pictures show a bus being recovered from the scene of a crash which closed a Bristol city centre A-road this morning (September 29).
The crash was confirmed on the A420 Trinity Road with an alert issued shortly before 6am.
Avon and Somerset Police are at the scene of the collision on the one-way section which has been described as "serious."

The alert on the collision was issued at 5.48am and explained the road would remain affected for up to four hours.
The road is currently still closed and pictures from the scene show a cordon across the entrance and exit to the one-way road.
Trinity Road is closed on both sides between the zebra crossing at Stapleton Road Tavern, and the junction with Trinity Walk.
Police vehicles are stationed at both ends of the closure, although pedestrians have been permitted to pass the cordon.
The images also appear to show a bus being recovered from the scene of the collision.
A Citylines East bus, run by First, is currently behind the cordon and a recovery vehicle is assisting with the response.
There is yet no confirmation on any injuries.
Bristol Live has been told by officers at the scene that the closure is expected to be lifted soon.
