A man was rushed to hospital with "significant injuries" after a car crash near the M5 yesterday.
The crash resulted in the closure of junction 21 of the M5 and the A370 near near Weston-super-Mare.
The single-vehicle collision happened at about 7.10pm yesterday (Tuesday, September 7) on the A370, at the junction with Puxton Lane.

The man driving the car, a blue Audi A3, was taken to hospital, where he remains the following day.
A spokesperson for Avon and Somerset Police said: “At approximately 7.10pm yesterday evening (Tuesday, September 7) emergency services attended the scene of the single-car collision on the A370, at the junction with Puxton Lane.
"A road closure was put in place between the M5 junction 21 to Congresbury High Street while enquiries were carried out at the scene.
“The male driver of the car, a blue Audi A3, suffered significant injuries and was taken to hospital where he remains at the time of writing. His family have been informed.
