A2 Shore Road reopens following road traffic collision

The A2 Shore Road has reopened following an road traffic collision early this morning.

The road had been closed following an accident close to the Regional College between Station Road and Rushpark roundabout.

Just after 4pm this evening, a PSNI spokesperson confirmed the road had now reopened.

Sgt McA posted on Twitter: "The Shore Road has reopened in both directions. Whilst I appreciate that this was an inconvenience for many, please, please, spare a thought for those involved. I will put up a further post in due course. Thank you once again."
