The A1 has been closed to traffic in both directions following a major road crash.
Traffic Scotland confirmed the road was shut following a collision near Thorntonloch, East Lothian.
The Scottish Government agency said the incident took place around 10.22am this morning.

Traffic is heavy on approach in both directions and police are understood to be at the scene.
Commuters are advised to find an alternative route if at all possible.
However the incident has meant that heavy traffic is spilling into the quieter roads in East Lothian as motorists try to find a way to avoid the disruption.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Officers were called around 10.10am to reports of a two-vehicle collision on the A1 near Thorntonloch.
"Emergency services are currently at the scene and the road is closed."
