A-Z of fashion: Kim Jones has curated a magazine

Kim Jones has had a busy year.

Since he joined Dior as menswear artistic director last year he has introduced a streetwear edge to the notoriously traditional fashion house, designed the tour outfits for viral K-pop group BTS and made male bangles a thing. Somehow, in that time, he has also curated a magazine, and it's 248 pages long.

For its 19th edition, Belgian magazine A Magazine Curated By enlisted Kim Jones to be their latest guest curator. Hammersmith born Jones follows in the footsteps of fellow design heavyweights Simone Rocha, Riccardo Tisci and Alessandro Michele, who have all designed and edited the magazine.

In Jones' issue the magazine is ordered by letters of the alphabet. The "A" section is entitled “Africa” and features a conversation between Naomi Campbell and Jones talking about Nelson Mandela and her experience of African politics. "Q" is for "Queer" and features an artistic homage to the writer and raconteur Quentin Crisp.

As in life, the pages of Jones’ magazine are littered with A-list friends and collaborators, from Kate Moss and Bella Hadid to Takashi Murakami and Virgil Abloh.
