The wife of water company United Utilities boss Steve Mogford has died while holidaying on the Spanish island of Menorca.
Elsie Mogford, 37, who lived in the Anglezarke beauty spot between Bolton and Chorley, passed away in a hospital on the Spanish island on Tuesday.
She had been married to Steve Mogford, 65, the head of United Utilities, for two years.
It is not yet clear what caused Mrs Mogford's death.

She was rushed to hospital on Tuesday but medics could not save her and she was declared dead.
The mum has two sons from a previous marriage and she wed Mr Mogford in June 2019.
The marriage reportedly took place three years after Mr Mogford's first wife Barbara, 61, died from breast cancer.
A statement released by the family said: "The family of Elsie Mogford announce her death, in hospital in Menorca, on Tuesday 24 August.
"Elsie was a wonderful, wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend and she will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her. The family request privacy at this very sad time."
The mum shared a number of pictures from her holiday on social media.
Mrs Mogford, whose children are aged 15 and 11, loved her horses, competing in eventing and dressage.
Mr Mogford made £2.94million as head of United Utilities last year, including his wage, bonus and benefits, Mail Online reports.
He has led the firm, which provides water and waste services in the north-west, for a decade.
