As the nation's excitement over the Line of Duty finale reaches fever pitch, one fan went a step further by having a Vicky McClure haircut on Lorraine.
The fan, called Kelly, had her chin-length bob lopped to resemble actress Vicky's signature quiff hairstyle on the ITV talk show.
It was explained that she can easily 'jazz up' the short hairstyle, known as The Pompadour, which is becoming increasingly popular thanks to Vicky and her character Detective Inspector Kate Fleming.
As Kelly was wheeled around in her chair for the big reveal of her new style, she said: "I absolutely love it."
"Omg! I literally said this yesterday and today it's on Lorraine," said one impressed viewer about the segment entitled 'how to get Vicky McClure's hair.'
"Love the new hair do," praised another.
But others were less impressed with the segment.
"How to get Vicky McClure's hair? Pay ninety-nine quid to a professional hairdresser …" said one.
"Seriously Vicky McClure's hair.....the hair she's had styled like that for a year just like Emma Willis???" asked another.
This Is England star Vicky has played AC-12 undercover specialist Kate since the first series in 2012.
On Sunday millions of viewers will be poised in the hope of finding out the identity of the mysterious 'H' after weeks of high drama - and Kate is one of the suspects in the mystery over the identity of the corrupt high-ranking officer.
Meanwhile this week Vicky has also been heaped with praised after fronting a heartwarming new documentary called Our Dementia Choir for BBC One to show the power of music in fighting dementia.
