'A win-win' - Nottingham Forest given green light to seal Premier League transfer

Nottingham Forest fans have been reacting to the latest reports about Joe Worrall's future.

The Reds defender is attracting interest from the Premier League after a consistently solid season for Sabri Lamouchi's play-off chasers in 2019-20.

Worrall has been linked with Sheffield United and Burnley, the latter credited with an interest in The Sun yesterday.

It is being said that Worrall would like assurances that he will be a part of Sean Dyche's first team setup should he move to Turf Moor.

With centre-back Tyler Blackett coming in to bolster Lamouchi 's defence, that doesn't necessarily mean Worrall won't be replaced with Gibson potentially part of any deal between the two sides.

Gibson joined Burnley for £15 million from Middlesbrough in 2018 but has only made six appearances for Dyche despite impressing during his time at the Riverside Stadium.

As far as a potential move for Gibson is concerned, these Reds fans think it would be a good deal.

One fan said: "Throw some money in too and I’d accept - Gibson is quality at Championship level."

"Not weakening our team plus getting money is a win-win," said another.

"Gibson is championship quality so to get money and the player would be good," added a third.

"Take Gibson and cash," another said.

A fifth fan added: "Yes please."
