'A violation!' - Wolves mock Granit Xhaka with cheeky TikTok video after beating Arsenal

Wolves have poked fun at Arsenal's Granit Xhaka by posting a video on TikTok mocking the Swiss midfielder's attempts to man-mark Adama Traore.

The Spain international produced a quality performance at the Emirates Stadium last Sunday to help his side to a 2-1 victory over the Gunners, playing a key role in both goals.

Pedro Neto and Daniel Podence found the net during the first half as Arsenal suffered their fifth league defeat of the season despite Gabriel Magalhaes scoring the club's only goal from open play in their last six outings.

The video, posted to the official Wolves TikTok account on Friday, shows Xhaka desperately backpedalling in an unsuccessful attempt to stop the powerful Traore from driving towards goal.

The caption reads: "How NOT to mark Adama Traore."

Wolves supporters reacted with amusement to the clip, with one fan commenting: "That one there was a violation."

Arsenal will be looking to return to winning ways in the Premier League this weekend with victory against north London rivals Tottenham Hotspur, who currently lead the league table.

The Gunners could still be without midfielder Thomas Partey, with the 27-year-old having missed the club's last couple of outings with a thigh injury.

However, David Luiz may make a return to the side following a sickening clash of heads with Raul Jimenez during the defeat to Wolves.

Luiz was substituted at half time in the defeat to Wolves, while Jimenez was taken to hospital with a fractured skull and is now recovering.

Spurs go into the match hunting their fourth successive Premier League clean sheet and are the favourites to secure all three points from the first North London derby of the season.

Arsenal may receive a boost from the potential absence of Harry Kane, with a mystery injury having ruled the England captain out of Thursday's Europa League draw against LASK.

However, Jose Mourinho expects his star man to be available for selection.

"I'm not going to say about the nature of his injury," Mourinho said.

"I think he has a good chance of playing at the weekend, I believe he will play."
