'A top, top fella' - What Nottingham Forest fans are saying as Sabri Lamouchi makes a quick return to football

Former Nottingham Forest manager Sabri Lamouchi appears to have netted himself a quick return to football.

Lamouchi was replaced by Chris Hughton at the City Ground after a run of bad results to start the season, failing to win any of their opening games this  term, which followed on from the disastrous final day of last season when Forest blew a top-six finish.

The Reds announced his departure with a brief statement which said: “Nottingham Forest can confirm that the contract of head coach Sabri Lamouchi has been terminated with immediate effect.”

It seems that it hasn't taken long for him to get back in the dugout, the destination seems to be Qatar Stars League team, Al-Duhail SC.

The club posted pictures from their win over Qatar SC today, and Lamouchi was pictured on the sidelines.

He is listed on his Wiki page as the club's current manager.

An official announcement hasn't been made yet.

The news was met with plenty of reactions from Forest fans:

Claire: I hope he does well over there with you.

Andrew Chard: Good luck to him

Lee Holmes: Soulless. He'll miss the passion and intensity of the Championship. Be itching to get back and prove himself

Bailey Clifford: We didn’t deserve him at forest.

Pat O'Hara: He’ll be bored out there. But rich.

Pete: To all Alduhail fans; you’ve got a top top fella there in Sabri. Many of us forest fans are gutted it didn’t work out for him here
