A third KFC is reopening in Notts today

A third KFC drive-thru is reopening in Notts today - with long queues anticipated after the seven week closure.

A scaled-down workforce returned to the fried chicken restaurant at Springfield Retail Park, Bulwell, this morning where safety measures are in place to protect staff and customers.

Today (Tuesday, May 12) will be drive-thru only at the Hucknall Lane site but a delivery option is expected to start tomorrow.

If the reopening of a branch in Forest Town is anything to go by, lengthy tailbacks are likely as chicken lovers can't wait to get their hands on a KFC bucket.

It's rumoured that another Notts branch will reopen later this week.
