A stunning ice trail is coming to Yorkshire and it looks like a brilliant family day out

An amazing ice trail of sculptures is coming to Yorkshire in the new year.

You might have to take your family on a short car journey or pop on a train as this will be happening in York but it looks like it’ll be worth it.

The York Ice Trail will run over two days and feature some stunning sculptured designs and lots of fun activities for people to get involved in.

The attraction will run across the city centre on Saturday, February 1 and Sunday, February 2.

Around 17,000 people went to visit the trail when it last arrived in York!

A Visit York spokesperson said: “We were overwhelmed with reactions to the trail, people really love it and we’re now busy planning the next one already.

“Thousands turned out to walk the trail of fifty stunning sculptures, each sponsored by a York business."
