A Stranger Things themed ice cream van straight out of the 80s is coming to Leeds and fans will not want to miss it!
The spooky-but-sweet treat is visiting 10 'Hawkins Roads' across the UK and Ireland in a 15-day tour to celebrate the horror series' return on Netflix.
The 'upside-down' ice cream van, complete with eerie Stranger Things melodic chimes inspired by the soundtrack, has two sides - a 1980s themed ice cream parlour in pastel pinks, blues and whites, and a darker side straight out of the terrifying 'upside down' world.
The van will serve free ice cream in one Leeds street tomorrow (Friday) due to its 'connection' with the show's location of Hawkins, Indiana.
Hawkins Drive, near Woodhouse, will be visited by the van in the evening with free ice cream for people who live there.
Retro flavours including Coke Float, Cherries Jubilee, Banana Boat and July 4th will be served up between 6pm and 7pm.
Series three of Stranger Things began streaming on Netflix today.
The third series, set in 1985, two years on from the last series, follows the young heroes through the summer break, with romance blossoming... but danger is never far away.
The science-fiction horror first aired in 2016 to huge critical acclaim, and scooped ten Primetime Emmy Award nominations and four Golden Globe Award nominations after its second season aired in 2017.
