A Halloween themed pop up cinema is coming to the iconic Palm House in Sefton Park in October.

The historic park will be screening four horror classics on the big screen over a period of four nights.

The event is titled Halloween Fright Night and will begin on September 27 with psychological horror The Shining, followed by post-apocalyptic favourite 28 Days Later on September 28, then cult classic The Blair Witch Project on October 29 and finishing with influential silent film, Nosferatu on October 30.

The films will begin at 8pm each night, though guests are welcome to arrive from 7.30pm.

Refreshments will be available but ticket holders are encouraged to bring treats and blankets along to enjoy under the stars while the creepy films play.

Tickets cost £13 and can be booked here .

The Palm House is based in Sefton Park, L17 1AP.
