Newcastle's Quayside Seaside does not open for a week yet but it is already looking the part.
Construction firm Esh Civils is busy building the beach, which opens by the Millennium Bridge on Friday, May 24.
The sand has arrived, as have the candystriped beach huts, which will be free for the pubic to enjoy some shade in.

This year's beach is bigger than previous Quayside Seasides, as the shipping crate which housed pop-up restaurants has been removed.
A children's play ground is being built on the sand, complete with a slide and fireman's pole.

Visitors will also be lounge on deckchairs and borrow buckets and spades to play in the sand with.
An astro-turf area with additional seating, giant outdoor games and room for street food vendors will be a new addition for 2019.

Tom O’Gara, Esh Civil’s Small Works Manager said: "This project brings great value to the area. It’s a consistent job that we have delivered since 2013 and end users fully embrace the feature to make it such a popular Newcastle attraction."
