Victoria Beckham turned up in person to launch her new spring collection at Selfridges in Birmingham.
Her designs may be on the high street, but at eye watering prices and they may not fit unless you have the body of a super model.
“Real woman” Grace MacAskill, who has had two children and is a size 10 on the bottom and size 12 on top, went along to try out the range.
She was forced to go up to a size 14, reports The Mirror . That was the biggest size she could find in Posh’s collection with nothing for a 16, which is the average in the UK.

Grace couldn’t get the zip to meet on a size 12 dress from Victoria’s spring line so she tried another outfit.
“Thinking I’d have better luck with trousers, I grabbed a pair of 10s with front slits up each leg. They hugged my crotch but at £575, I was sure they’d look good,” said Grace.

“I teamed them with a blue lace top at an eye-watering £650. I spent a good 10 minutes wriggling into the top, but cannot make two become one.
“From a distance I looked OK. Nearing the mirror, I realised I’d become John Travolta. And the top clung to all the wrong bits.

“I could buy something similar in Next and it would fit.”

Grace did fall for one outfit. A silk floral skirt with matching top. But the top was £695 and the skirt £1,455 so she said her purse couldn’t stretch to it.
“If I were Victoria I’d ditch the designs and get on that Spice Girls tour.
“See that audience, love? That’s what women look like.”
