A 'secret' cocktail garden is opening at Calton Hill next week - with kangaroo hotdogs and frosé

Potentially Edinburgh's worst-kept secret, a new cocktail garden shrouded in mystery will be opening at Calton Hill next week.

Dinna Tell, a new bar and restaurant coming to Edinburgh's Royal Terrace, has been sneakily announcing itself on Instagram over the last couple of weeks and its menu looks INCREDIBLE.

Edinburgh's newest addition to the bar scene will be serving up frosé (frozen rosé wine), pints, cocktails and gourmet hotdogs.

However - these aren't any normal hotdogs. Flavours include crocodile and zebra, kangaroo and ostrich, rabbit and venison and boar and buffalo.

For the less adventurous there's pork and fennel and a vegan offering.

They're served up with piles of straw fries or sweet potato chips and all of the hotdogs have the option to be smothered in delicious toppings such as blue cheese and pickles.

From Instagram we've learnt that the garden will be full of homemade furniture and a speaker system has been installed - the rest remains a secret.

To keep up to date with the bar's opening follow them on Instagram here - just 'dinna tell' a soul.

Dinna Tell will be opening at 24 Royal Terrace, Edinburgh, EH7 5AH next week - date to be confirmed.
