A Savannah Bananas infielder made a bonkers behind-the-back bounce throw out look so smooth

The Savannah Bananas have become one of the most fun baseball stories to follow this summer. Nearly every week this season, we’ve seen a wacky highlight out of the theatrical exhibition baseball team, from fan participation ending a game to backflip catches.

And now, the Bananas are at it once again, this time thanks to infielder Ryan Cox’s stunning ingenuity on the field.

After a Party Animals hit right at Cox at shortstop, the infielder gloved the ball and proceeded to go behind his back, bouncing the ball off the field before snagging it with his bare hand. Cox then remarkably was able to make the throw to first to get the out, completing one of the smoothest baseball plays you’ll ever see.

The Bananas never fail to impress, that’s for sure!
