A sausage dog café is coming to Bristol and it looks absolutely adorable

If your idea of heaven is being in a room filled with the most adorable dogs, you're in luck.

Next month a city centre bar will be filled with mini dachshunds for one day only, as the Dachshund Pop Up Café hits Bristol.

Run by event organisers Pup Up Café, Prince Street Social on Prince Street will be overrun with the lovable breed of dog on Sunday, November 17 - and more than 100 dogs are expected to attend.

Pop Up Cafe was launched at the beginning of 2019 and its first event in Exeter was a sell-out, with more than 200 dachshunds popping in throughout the day.

A spokesperson for Pup Up Cafe said: "We wanted to bring our love of dogs together with our experience of running and attending events in different industries to bring something new to the UK.

"We planned to host doggy focused and friendly events with a twist and we try to differ from the crowd by bringing in trade stands to sell their doggy goodies at our events.

"We also feature off lead time so the dogs make the most of their time at our events and there are lots more great ideas to come in the future."

There will be free puppuccinos for all dogs (Pup Up Cafe)

What the event includes

According to Pup Up Cafe, there will be plenty for both pups and humans to enjoy on the day, including:

  • Dog treats at treat stations, making for perfect photo opportunities
  • Unlimited free puppuccinos for all dogs
  • A photographer taking photos which will be available on Pup Up Café's Facebook page
  • Competitions for dogs taking place throughout the day
  • Dachshund trade stands to buy goodies
  • Ball pits, tunnels, toys and other activities for dogs

Tickets

Children under eight and dogs go free, although dog owners and members of the public without a dog will need to buy a ticket in advance.

For dachshund owners tickets are £8 and for non-owners they are £10.

They can be purchased on Fatsoma's website.
