A Santa's grotto just for DOGS is coming to Manchester

A Santa's grotto just for DOGS is coming to Manchester.

The 'Santa Paws' grotto was launched a few years ago by K9 Swim dog hydrotherapy centre in Newton Heath.

Since then, they say it has proved to be a massive hit with humans who don't want their pets to miss out on the fun over Christmas, as well as with their four-legged companions.

The grotto will be returning this year in December.

Dogs visiting the grotto get to have a canine-only meet and greet and photo opportunity with Father Christmas.

The dogs are also given their own dog-appropriate Christmas present by the big man.

"Owners will have the opportunity to take some photographs of the meet and greet with Santa in our grotto whilst doggies will revive a Christmas gift from Santa".

The centre is now taking bookings for visits throughout December.

Tickets are £10 per dog.
