A rundown of Adam Collards actions on Love Island series 4 as he returns to ITV show

Love Island 2022 has had no shortage of drama with blazing rows, sneaky snogs and two walk-outs from contestants leaving the show early.

While Liam Llewellyn left the ITV series on day five, rugby player Jacques O’Neill left the show on Monday, July 11, 2022, after over a month in the villa.

It comes after former series four contestant Adam Collard made a shocking return to Love Island on Monday, which left several of the men on the show feeling flustered and concerned about whether heads would be turned.

Now, many are wondering what the controversial contestant, who had statements made about him by domestic violence charity Women’s Aid, got up to during his series.

Here’s everything you need to know about the Geordie islander.

A rundown of Adam Collards actions on Love Island series 4

Love Island 2018 contestant Adam Collard entered series four on day one as an original islander, but was dumped on day 33.

This was over 20 days before the series ended on day 59 with Dani Dyer and Jack Fincham being crowned as the winners and bagging the prize money.

The 26-year-old coupled up with a staggering four girls during his series and was slated by viewers for his ‘ruthless’ actions.

He began by stealing coupled-up Kendall Rae-Knight, but then dumped her for Welsh contestant and new arrival Rosie Williams.

The pair’s romance appeared to be blossoming until Made In Chelsea’s Zara McDermott entered the villa, leading Collard to swiftly end things with the Welsh contestant.

Williams was left feeling hurt and angered by the lothario’s move and communicated this with Collard, who suggested this was in her head.

On the episode, Williams told him: “I don’t think you have any idea how much you’ve hurt me and how much you’ve really upset me.

“The worst thing is, I don’t think you actually care. You’re like stone.”

She went on to say she hadn’t done anything wrong, to which he replied: “Debatable”.

His actions led to charity Women’s Aid making a statement about the contestant, saying in 2018: “On the latest series of Love Island, there are clear warning signs in Adam’s behaviour.

“In a relationship, a partner questioning your memory of events, trivialising your thoughts or feelings, and turning things around to blame you can be part of pattern of gaslighting and emotional abuse.

“Last night, Rosie called out Adam’s unacceptable behaviour on the show. We ask viewers to join her in recognising unhealthy behaviour in relationships and speaking out against all forms of domestic abuse – emotional as well as physical.”

After coupling up with Made In Chelsea star Sam Thompson’s now-girlfriend, the pair were split up when McDermott was dumped from the island.

Collard swiftly started getting to know Daryelle Sargeant during Casa Amor, but was dumped from the villa.

He then got into a relationship with McDermott for eight months, before the couple split.
