It's not a likely combination, but a 'pizza run' event where runners are given pizza at the finish line is coming to Manchester this month.
Taking place at Heaton Park on Saturday, June 22, Pizza Run UK will even have pizza slice-shaped medals for runners.
Runners can choose from a family mile, a 5km run or even a 10km run.
There will be a bespoke warm-up before the races begin, with pizza medals and slices of pizza handed out at the finish line.
Live music will accompany the after party at the finish line.
Entry costs £11.36 for the family mile run, £22.14 for the 5km, and £24.29 for the 10km, all including booking fees.
For that price, you get your race entry and number, two slices of pizza (or one slice each if you're on the family mile race), a Pizza Run UK finisher's medal, and afterparty entry.
There will also be prizes for the top finishers, and for the best in fancy dress.
Pizza Run UK first launched in 2018 and visited Platt Fields Park last year - this year, it's taking place at Heaton Park.
The route will start near Heaton Hall before turning and making its way down to the boating lake. From here, it works its way up towards the main golf course before turning back past the pitch and putt, lapping around Heaton Hall, and returning to the start line.
10km runners will complete this same route twice.
The event is open to anyone aged 10 and above, though under 16s will need to be accompanied by an adult.
The races begin at 11.45am and runners are advised to allow plenty of time.
