A Room Full of Chocolate by Jane Elson – review

If I am truly honest I don’t think the book was my cup of tea. When I started reading it I thought there would be a lot of chocolate involved but guess what? No chocolate was even mentioned! So, like always, I am disappointed with the title of the book as it doesn’t tell you what the book is about. I don’t think I would have understood why it was named A Room Full of Chocolate if I didn’t read all about the author (by the way, shout-out to Jane Elson for helping kids write stories )

Right, back to the main point: the book itself was interesting but got quite boring after a while. I think the book is different but also similar to other bullying books. It’s amazing for her first book though and it’s good for children to know the effects of bullying someone and I wish Jane Elson the best of luck with her next book!

I also think authors need to know that they need to make their books more interesting because they don’t only have other authors to compete with but also the TV (which dominates the world!) I am pretty sure that half of the books I have read I heard about thanks to TV commercials and similar types of media.
