Fresh on the heels of dispelled rumors about a split, Alex Rodriguez has flown back into the coop.
According to an Instagram post, he jetted down to the Dominican Republic to be with Jennifer Lopez, his intended, where she is filming.
“Happy Monday,” A-Rod captioned a brief Instagram Stories video of a view of azure surf from what seemed to be a hotel window. “New Week. New day. Onward.”
And then under it, in larger, bolder letters, “Upward.”
The pair had admitted to a “rough patch” last week amid reports of a split. They said they were “working through things,” though, and denied a breakup was in the offing.
The singer, 51, and the former Yankee, 45, have been engaged for two years.
Somewhere in there was a rumor of a potential hookup with Madison LeCroy of “Southern Charm,” but both she and A-Rod denied this and said in fact they have never met in person.
Lopez is filming “Shotgun Wedding” in the Dominican Republic, in which she stars with Lenny Kravitz and Josh Duhamel, among others, reported Caribbean Journal.
