Tributes have been paid to a devoted dad-of-three who tragically died after being hit by a car in Fife.
Steven Kennedy was struck by a white Mercedes Benz A-Class in Dunfermline on Wednesday night.
The 33-year-old, who was engaged to the mum of his three beautiful young children, tragically couldn’t be saved and was pronounced dead at the scene.
His devastated friends and loved ones have paid tribute to the hard-working mechanical fitter.
Megan Wolfenden said: “He was a really good guy. I spoke to him on a few occasions before. Very tragic that this happened. I hope he gets some justice. He is gone way too young. Thoughts go out to family and friends.”
Alison Goodwin wrote: “I just can’t take it in going to miss him me and Allan are here for you and kids."
Jane Kennedy added: “He’ll always be my wee bairn. Devastated x”
And Angie Beveridge said: “Such sad news, my heart goes out to Stephen’s family R.I.P”
Karen Mcdowall wrote: “Thoughts are with his family and kids.”
Police are still appealing for anyone who witnessed the crash to urgently get in touch.
The incident happened at around 9.50pm when the car was being driven out of St Margaret Street car park 2 onto St Margaret Street.
The car collided with Steven but he tragically could not be saved by emergency services who rushed to the scene.
Investigators are particularly keen to speak with anyone who may have talked to the driver immediately after the collision occurred.
