'A really frustrating day' - Video verdict as Nottingham Forest suffer promotion setback at Birmingham City

Nottingham Forest's seven-match unbeaten run in the Championship came to an end today with a 2-1 defeat to Birmingham City.

Sabri Lamouchi's side passed up an opportunity to keep up the pressure on West Bromwich Albion, Leeds United and Fulham above them in the race for promotion to the Premier League.

The Baggies won today, easing to a comfortable 2-0 defeat to the League's bottom side Luton Town while Leeds lost to Wigan Athletic in a surprise result at Elland Road.

Fulham kept up their good run of form, fending off a spirited fightback from Huddersfield Town to win 3-2 at Craven Cottage.

Forest are now four points off Leeds ahead of a mouth-watering clash next Saturday (5.30pm).

But they could have gone to within just one if Lewis Grabban had converted his penalty today.

The Reds were leading 1-0 at the time through Tiago Silva's fine strike and Grabban had a chance to double their advantage before half-time.

Lee Camp, ex-Forest, saved and Blues didn't look back with Scott Hogan and Kristian Pedersen on hand to secure a big win for the hosts.
