A quirky new bookshop will open up in Edinburgh this weekend with up to 70,000 titles for shoppers to browse, owners have confirmed.
Topping & Company is opening at the corner of London Road and Leith Walk in a former RBS branch.
Books are arriving each day at the store and it is due to open its doors on Sunday at 10am.
We told how the independent booksellers were opening their first branch in Edinburgh earlier this year. It's delightful news for avid readers as other Topping branches have gone down well elsewhere.
Their original shop in Ely offers free coffee to customers, plus plenty of cosy nooks to sit while you leaf through a novel.
You can expect plenty of regular events and talks with authors when the new branch opens.
The company tweeted: "We're thrilled to announce that we'll be opening on Sunday at 10am!
"Books are still arriving every day and we're unpacking as fast as we can, but with room for over 70,000 titles we've still got a way to go! Do pop in to see how we're getting on, and to say hello."
