A Question of Sport celebrates turning 50 with massive live tour - and it's coming to Glasgow

A Question of Sport will mark its 50th anniversary next year with a huge UK wide tour - and it all kicks off in Glasgow.

Host Sue Barker and team captains Matt Dawson and Phil Tufnell will be playing away from the BBC studios when the ten-date tour takes off next April.

The first show  take place in Glasgow at the Armadillo on April 17, 2020.

Sue, 63, who is the show's third presenter having taken over the role in 1997, said: “I can’t think of a better way to celebrate this golden anniversary than to take the show around the country.”

Sue and the team will head down south to cities including Liverpool, Manchester and London.

The show, which is known as the 'world's longest running TV sports quiz' always brings together the biggest names from the sporting world  - and we're hopeful the show will include plenty famous faces.

Presale tickets go on sale at 10am on Wednesday, November 13 and on general sale at 10am on Friday, November 15 via ticketmaster.co.uk
