Eight bars at Principality Stadium forced to close for Wales v Australia

The Principality Stadium's management have apologised after closing eight bars for Wales' autumn finale against Australia on Saturday evening.

The game kicks off at 5.30pm and stadium bosses shared an update at 3.30pm saying a number of bars would not be in operation "due to staff shortages".

Fans attending the game have been warned that other bars are likely to be busy. The stadium's website says it has 34 public bars and 16 food and beverage outlets in total.

A statement said: "Due to staff shortages the following bars will not be open at the stadium today - 303, 326, 333, 336, 404, 413, 435 and 604.

"We apologise for any inconvenience. We anticipate the other bars will be busy, please bear with our staff at this time. Diolch."

It is the second time in two weeks that this has occurred, with eight bars also being forced to close due to staff shortages for Wales v South Africa.
