The Pup Up Cafe is being welcomed back to Cardiff this summer with a whole floor dedicated to sausage dogs.
The dachshund focused venue will be open later this year.
Due to Welsh government announcements with covid restrictions being opened up later than England's, it meant the event is unable to run at the original date in July and will instead take place September 11.
Each dog receives unlimited “Puppacinos”, can play doggy games with ball pits and tunnels as well as enter competitions for best dressed and sassiest. The event takes place in Revolution on Castle Street.
Business owner Marcus Ackford told TeamDogs : "It’s a crazy, fun, social doggy day. I think a lot of people are surprised how well-behaved their dogs are when around other dogs and off the lead doing what they want. There's a photographer to capture some memories of the day for you, opportunities to browse local dog related business trade stands, time to chat with other dog owners and lots of props and toys for your pooch to play with and photo ops.”
You can find loads more content dedicated to and obsessed with dogs here at Team Dogs.

The Pup Up Cafes have gone from strength to strength since launching in 2019, and now have nearly 40,000 likes on their Facebook page. They also run events for French Bulldogs, Pugs and Poodles (and their various crossbreeds). Up to 50 dogs and owners will be allowed per session across a dedicated floor in the venue.
If 50 excitable sausage dogs running around sounds like your cup of tea, you can buy a ticket from £9. The Frenchie and Pug Pop Up cafes are also coming to Cardiff at a later date.
