A Place in the Sun viewers worried for couple after u-turn on 'rollercoaster' search

A Place in the Sun viewers were concern after a buyer's issue on today's show.

Danni Menzies fronted Wednesday's edition of the popular Channel 4 programme. She was helping Chris and Louise find their dream holiday home in Manilva in the Costa del Sol.

It was a huge year for the couple as they were also getting married in addition to buying their dream home abroad. Chris and Louise were armed with a maximum budget of £130,000 and were looking for a two-bedroom home with access to the beach and sea views.

The couple were impressed by the first two homes in the search. However, they ruled out the properties after they complained the terrace was blanketed by shade.

The third property on the search was a two bed apartment was in Aldea beach. Louise was immediately unimpressed as she viewed the interior and said: "I don't like it. I'm not feeling it really."

However, the couple debated reconsidering the decision when they spotted the roof terrace bathed in sunshine. Viewers following the show on Twitter were concerned as the couple reconsidered their decision after they pointed out the scorching temperatures in Spain during the summer.

Kaff added: "Err…let’s check those August temperatures in southern Spain… just what you need, a barbecue sorry balcony in full sun."

Pegg posted: "Trust me 1 week of living with a sunny balcony you’ll be installing awnings!!!"

Margo commented: "Maybe we really should have gone for the shady balcony"

Steve posted: "Sometimes just sometimes you need some shade."

The couple eventually ruled out the property and decided the fifth home of the search was their favourite. Danni branded the hunt a "rollercoaster" and was optimistic when the two-bed apartment left Louise crying happy tears as she stepped out onto the beautiful sunny terrace.

The home was priced at just over £129,000 on the search and the couple decided they would put in an offer. However, the episode ended on a negative note as the owners refused to accept anything below asking price and the buyers walked away from the deal.
