A Place In The Sun viewers issue demand after latest episode

Some A Place In The Sun viewers were unhappy the show was set in a rural location today instead of somewhere brighter.

Barnsley couple Suzi and Andrew flew off to Charente, western France, on the hunt for their perfect home. Sara Damergi tagged along for the journey, tasked with finding them a rural property with three bedrooms and a reasonable walk from the nearest amenities.

For their budget of £100,000, they were willing to renovate a run-down property if the right home crossed their path. Suzi and Andrew weren't overly picky with what they were shown but viewers weren't happy at all with their choice of location.

A Place In The Sun usually jets off to stunning locations with golden beaches and the sun overhead but, given today's dreary tone and grey weather, some viewers thought the magic was gone.

From the top of the show, fans were disappointed Suzi and Andrew were in France instead of somewhere typical like the coast of Spain. One viewer said: "I WANT BEACHES!" Another added: "I hate when they go to France."

Others weren't pleased with the standard of houses for their humble budget. Another viewer said: "Flipping heck these are some BAD houses." A final added: "A Place In The Sun is on!... They're in rural France looking at run-down barns."

Despite viewer hangups, Suzi and Andrew found a property to their liking but left the show without a solid confirmation on whether or not it was theirs.
