A Place in the Sun's Laura Hamilton was taken aback as a couple halted a search on today's show.
The property expert was helping Mel and James find their dream home in Mijas Pueblo. The engaged couple rekindled their romance last year and were looking for their first home to invest in together.
They were searching for a 3 bedroom townhouse that boasted outdoor space and access to a pool. The buyers were armed with a maximum budget of £190,000 and Laura branded the search "challenging" as home in the area usually for £210,000.

The hunt got off to a perfect start as the couple were blown away by the townhouse in Mijas la Nueva. The search quickly went down hill with the next home as Mel and James were unimpressed before they even walked through the front door.
Laura insisted they should give the home a change as the £193,227 represented great value for money for the space on offer. The couple were impressed with the interior but it was not enough to change their minds as they halted the search before viewing the upstairs.
Mel said: "We've seen enough to compare." James added: "Yeah move on I think."
Laura was disappointed at the outcome but philosophical as she said: "You win some and you lose some."
Mel branded the search as a "rollercoaster" as the hunt sharply improved as the couple fell in love in love with the third and final property on the search. They eventually decided to put a bid in for the final home, which was a two storey townhouse.
Mel and James were thrilled as they secured the home for £180,000.
