A Place in the Sun's Jonnie Irwin's Father's Day update leaves Jasmine Harman in tears

A Place in the Sun's Jasmine Harman was in tears following Jonnie Irwin's Father's Day update. It comes as the property expert has been diagnosed with terminal cancer.

And the 49-year-old chose to keep his illness private until last November. He hopes sharing his diagnosis will encourage others to "make the most of every day", reports Liverpool Echo.

Jonnie shares three sons named Rex, Rafa and Cormac with his wife, Jessica Holmes, and he regularly shares updates from his home life on Instagram. He took to the social media platform to post a snap with his sons taken from his exclusive interview with Hello! Magazine.

He said: "Father’s Day means even more to me this year." Jonnie made a series of heartbreaking admissions in the interview as he revealed he leaves the home whenever he is in pain for the sake of his three children.

He said: "I remove myself on a number of occasions because I'm not good to be around when I'm in pain. I'm like a bear with a sore head and I don't want them to be around that."
